From the age of six Sergio Dinarte embarked on a musical journey that would shape his life and touch the souls of many around the world. Under the guidance of Don Cándido Morales, a disciple of the legendary Agustín Barrios Mangoré, Sergio began his guitar education, laying the foundation for his future as a fingerstyle guitarist.

Classically trained at the prestigious University of Costa Rica, Sergio's passion for music led him beyond the realm of traditional classical guitar scores. With a self-taught drive, he dove into the world of fingerstyle and bass, pushing the boundaries of his skills while still carrying the refined techniques of his classical training. Sergio's love for his Salvadoran roots propelled him into the vibrant music scene of his homeland. Collaborating with various groups, he strummed the strings of Salvadoran music, infusing it with his own unique style and soul. But Sergio's talent didn't stop there.

His musical journey took him far and wide, sharing stages with India's Ska band, The Ska Vengers, and captivating audiences at renowned festivals like Glastonbury, WOMAD, and Boomtown. His performances even reached the prestigious BBC studios in London, leaving a lasting impression. Recognition soon followed Sergio's remarkable talent. As a consecutive winner of the Best Classical Guitarist award at the Youth Week of Santa Cecilia College, Sergio represented El Salvador at international festivals such as the World Percussion Festival.

Through his participation, he formed cultural connections between El Salvador and India, bridging gaps and fostering understanding through the universal language of music. Sergio's altruistic spirit shines through his involvement in various charitable events, where he generously offers his art to make a positive impact on the world. His selfless dedication to using music as a conduit for change demonstrates his desire to make a difference and inspire others through his craft.
