New York based singer songwriter Randy Beth is an artist that has imprinting her mark on the industry over the course of the last year. Possessing heart piercing vocals that are just as distinct as they are touching.
Her latest single entitled “Run”is a breathtaking new entry, the foundation being held together with atmospheric R&B, the production simple, yet raw and deeply emotional. Randy’s voice cuts like a knife, her lyrics only raising the stakes further, every word teetering with conviction laced with her angelic tone. As the chorus approaches things take a more natural climatic progression. Randy belts out the hook as the backing guitar stays on point throughout.
The song is unlike most quick fixes of commercial Pop and R&B today, Randy shows us that pertinence is indeed a virtue, the song never feels over filled, in fact even at 03:41 when the song closes out were left wanting more. This is mark of a great artist, who has the natural ability to create songs that are unique and relatable to their audience, Randy does this and does so with ease.
