Matthew Austin Hunt and his new single "Free"

Matthew Austin Hunt was almost guaranteed to make moves in the industry given his family background in music. With his grandfather being a Los Angles recording artist in the 1940's

Matthew's inspiration for creating music came at a young age.

Taking scopes of influence from the likes of Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, and The Turnpike Troubadours.

Currently in the stages of completing his full LP album, Matthew gives followers a glimpse of what is to come in his latest single release "Free"

The song definitely has a strong opening, straight into the action with heavy drums and lead vocals. Country tones hit throughout the record, something which Matthews voice fits in very well from a genre perspective.

Also possessing an uplifting quality the single definitely feels like a song you could put on repeat. Mixed incredibly well, all the instrumental backing blends in without any problems allowing the artists voice to pierce through perfectly.

Matthew is also set to be back on the road this year with various dates booked in the US.
