Brad Byrd confronts his demons on new EP "Where Were You When The World Stoped?"

Brad Byrd, is a figure that has truly seen and done an awful lot in his illustrious and ever expanding career so far as an artist. The L.A. based artist, is proud to be an artist that delves into a variety of genres with his work, whether that be Rock, Folk or alternative Country. Taking inspiration from his many journeys across the United States, Brad comes full circle on his latest release.



The project is an elegant balance of cross genres blends, opener "Where Were You When The World Stoped" is a nicely reflective number that provides meaningful questions regarding life's ways. The song floats along accompanied by Brad's deep baritone vocals and acoustic guitar. "Did you get all that you want, can you live and lie?" Are just some of the striking lyrics on the track.


"The Bright Lights" is a strongly contrasting piece, a high tempo Indie song of dreams, it's almost as if Brad's vocals were made for tracks like this. The song builds up well with background guitar riffs and drum hits.


EP closers, "When You Need Me" and is a classic Rock ballad that provides some feel good nostalgia before the closer 'Chasing Down The Sun" a soft detox of Country vibes that make for a wonderful conclusion.
