Blind Liars, are an indie rock band hailing from Ypsilanti, Michigan
With Eric Bates on drums Jon Root on Guitar and vocals and Schala Walls bass and vocals. Unlike so many of today’s artists, the band are a refreshing addition to the scene, offering impressive musicianship and a truly nostalgic vibe.

Their upcoming single "Alarm Clocks" which is a leading single from their highly anticipated new album “The Ringer” represents a cathartic journey through personal turmoil, loss, and the pursuit of self-identity. The song is indeed a reflective yet relatable piece that provides listeners with a song of substance and meaning.
During the summer between Jon Root's sophomore and junior year of college, Jon faced a series of challenging events that left him feeling adrift and alone. The breakup of his high school band and the loss of a close friendship became the fuel for his songwriting. "Alarm Clocks" became his outlet for processing the grief and confusion that accompanied these life-altering experiences. Through introspection and self-reflection, Jon sought to find meaning and purpose amidst the chaos.
It wasn't until the winter of 2021 that the found solace in recording the track at their individual home studios."Alarm Clocks" can best be described as a rollicking indie-rock freight train, propelled by the force of pounding drums that drive the song forward. Root's poignant lyrics soar above the instrumental backdrop, providing a glimpse into his vulnerable state of mind during that transformative period of life. The melodic hooks and infectious energy of the track create an atmosphere where listeners can immerse themselves in the emotional journey, finding solace in the shared experience of longing, loss, and the pursuit of self-discovery.
