The artist who was born into an Irish-Italian family near New York, has been creating music for the best part of twenty five years. The violinist has made a career by writing, performing and recording original music.
Now currently based in Los Angeles, Murphy earns his living by teaching both guitar, mandolin and violin , working on music for films, and by performing his work for vast audiences.
His new highly anticipated new album "Sovereign"is another clear example of Chris Murphy's impressive and versatile musical style. Remaining consistent with acoustic and country tones the artist plays to his strengths well, utilising all his accumulated skills to his advantage.
